My name is Devin Payne. I am an artist focusing on hyper realism with character models. I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and am currently located in Atlanta, Georgia. I am studying at Full Sail University to receive my bachelor's degree in Computer Animation. While I am still a student, I have ample experience in textures, models, and the software used to produce these assets. I have a great eye to detail, and thrive to create the most realistic textures & models, in hopes to one day create the most immersive, realistic experience for gamers around the world.

My passion began at the very young age of 8, when my father built me my first computer, and bought me the first Sims game. I became obsessed with the idea of creating my own world, and as I grew, so did my curiosity and my passion. I graduated from DABB's Photography & Visual Arts program located in Irondale, Alabama (a special program which hand selects high school students from different schools in the Greater Birmingham area excelling in the arts).

As an adult, I have created custom content for video games including, but not limited to: Skyrim, The Witcher 3, Mass Effect 1, 2, 3, & Andromeda, Fallout 4, The Sims 3 & 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and more.

I am well known by many for my optimism, persistence, and refusal to give up. I work well under pressure, and have an incredible ability to inspire and motivate my team mates. I will always find a way to succeed, even when there seems none. My misfortunes in life helped me to realize that anything is possible, there is always a puzzle to be solved, and that there is always a solution to that puzzle.

I want to show every soul that the world we live in is indeed beautiful, through cinematic and video games. Be it through the broad blue skies above, or the tiny critters beneath our feet.

I use a mix of custom brushes and stock images to get the best possible, and most realistic, results. I spend between 10 to 20 hours every day studying every single detail, as I strongly believe that the beauty is in the details. I consider every possible result. While not working on textures, I continue studying the beautiful world we live in. I am constantly absorbing every detail through sight, touch, and smell. There is always something new to see, to learn, and to create.
